A couple weeks ago, we all joined Canadians from coast to coast to coast in cheering on our women's and men's hockey teams to Olympic gold.

Now we have a chance to celebrate great hockey and community spirit locally!

An enthusiastic team and organizing committee has put an excellent bid for Dundas to be named "Kraft Hockeyville 2010". There was a high-energy rally at the J. L. Grightmire Arena in Dundas last Saturday to show the world why Dundas is so deserving of this honour. TV cameras were there to capture the excitement.

Dundas needs your help. The key is to vote between now and March 21st. It's much like Dancing with the Stars or Canadian Idol -- those reality shows where viewer votes determine the winner.

If successful, Dundas would win a significant amount of money for Arena upgrades, as well as hosting an NHL pre-season hockey game next season.

As the Member of Parliament for Ancaster-Dundas-Flamborough-Westdale, I urge you to support Dundas and to pass the word to friends, neighbours, relatives and associates.

Voting is open from Mon. March 15^th at 9:00 p.m. to Sunday, March 21^st at 11:59 p.m.

2) By Phone, toll-free at 1-866-533-8066

3) By Text: by sending an SMS text message containing "VOTE DUNDAS" to 111888 (limit of 25 votes per mobile number per day and a $0.15 charge per vote will be applied to your bill)
