Saturday, September 17, 2011 -- The Dundas Division of the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce is pleased to be hosting the 5th Annual Scotiabank Dundas Senior's Day. The day's events are free and they start at 10 a.m. at Amica. For a full listing of events, please see the schedule below. The day’s events end with the popular ticketed Seniors Day Bingo & Dinner at the Community Centre which features a menu of roast chicken, vegetable lasagna, Caesar salad, rolls, delicious desert and door prizes. Dinner music will be provided by Dundas harpist Elizabeth Eastwood with after dinner entertainment by the delightful duo, Jimmy and Ligia Van Rosi Tickets for the bingo, dinner and entertainment package are $10.00 (taxes included), and must be purchased in advance at the following locations: Scotia Bank (Dundas Branch), and Dundas Community Services. All other associated activities throughout the day are free of charge. To honour Senior's Day a number of local merchants will offer seniors discounts. Merchants taking part will display a card in their window acknowledging that they will be providing a discount to seniors on this day. For further information, please contact 905-379-7353.
