Canada 150 Flamborough-Glanbrook Nation Builder Awards

July 1, 2017

2017 is Canada’s sesquicentennial, the 150th anniversary of Confederation. One hundred and fifty years ago, Canada officially became a nation under the leadership of Sir John A. Macdonald, Sir George Etienne-Cartier, George Brown, and the thirty-three other fathers of confederation. In the past century and a half, we have truly grown into the greatest nation on the planet.

However, we would not be where we are today without the contributions of many dedicated — and often unrecognized — volunteers, activists, and leaders, who have helped build our community and our nation. The Canada 150 Flamborough-Glanbrook Nation Builder Awards will celebrate many of these individuals and their accomplishments.

If you know of someone who you believe is deserving of recognition, please fill out the below nomination form and mail it to my office, no postage required, the address for which can be found at the bottom of the form.
